The High Street Centre has a number of well equipped rooms that are available to hire for various types of activities, conferences or events. Community facilities are available in Rawmarsh thanks to the hard work of local community members who have worked in partnership with Rawmarsh Methodist Church to form the High Street Centre.
Phase one of a comprehensive refurbishment plan has been completed allowing the High Street Centre to operate as a Social Enterprise to provide facilities and develop services for use by and for the local community. "It is important that we work together to focus on providing activities and services that will generate sufficient income to enable us to sustain and improve the community facilities at the Centre for the benefit of the whole community".
Local groups such as Parent and Toddlers, Dance School, Credit Union, Leisure Group, Scouts, Activate and ACE use the Centre for activities and meetings.
